Cropster Hub Warehouse Filter Feature Release: Great coffee discovery made even easier

Cropster Hub is releasing its most requested feature since its debut in early February: Warehouse Filtering.

This feature helps prospective buyers isolate what is immediately geographically accessible and relevant to them from a worldwide selection.

With over 265 spot coffees split between warehouses in Australia, North America, and Europe, Hub users increasingly need a new way to explore all their options.

“A platform like Cropster Hub helps roasters gauge value. Having a clear understanding of a coffee’s location – and more broadly an awareness of the shipping costs – will only help time strapped green buyers in their efforts to balance cost with quality and traceability,” says Hunter Craft at Zephyr Green Coffee Importers.

Buyers use the Warehouse Filtering to highlight coffees that are located in warehouses that are geographically closer to their locations and to focus on specific warehouses. Here is how it will help Cropster Hub customers search.

Focus on a region - Importers on Cropster Hub have coffees distributed across warehouses worldwide. Buyers can now filter to find coffees immediately accessible in their part of the globe.

Beyond regional filters, buyers can also filter to one or more warehouses. There are many reasons why buyers will select a certain warehouse: distance from roastery, hours of operation, standards for managing specialty coffee, facilities to handle organics, pre-existing business relationships, etc. Buyers can also use the warehouse filter to make consolidating several purchases easier A benefit of this being that they can use it to find a few bags of another coffee from the same warehouse to complete a pallet.

“On Cropster Hub, it’s great discover a beautiful 90 plus or a completely new coffee from an origin that’s new to you. But when the coffee is a spot offering of only a few bags on the other side of the world, it can require considerable extra time, effort, and costs to source. Filtering presents what is immediately available in your region.” said Matt Stringer Cropster Hub Product Manager. “We just want to direct a prospective buyer to coffees that are readily accessible, while allowing them to also explore everything Hub has to offer”.

We invite you to check out Cropster Hub. For a list of current availability, please check the coffee offerings section (hub.cropster.com/store) of the website.
