Secure linked coffee - That's SLIC!

Sharing information accurately and securely should be easy. That's why we created SLIC. If you send or receive lots of samples, keeping track of all the information on those labels can take time. We've built a tool that will make the entire process faster and more accurate, a bonus for you and your customers!

More information, better decisions and less work. Really.

With SLIC you can generate beautiful and informative sample labels easily - you don't even need a Cropster account (although there are even more benefits if you have one). SLIC helps you share key coffee information with your buyers quickly and reliably. It features a next generation label tool that is easy-to-use and that highlights your brand. The automatically generated QR-code holds all the data about the specific coffee sample you are sending and is readable by any smartphone, tablet or even PC (with a camera). Your buyers can scan these QR-codes and get all the relevant coffee data in an instant. Plus, if they are a Cropster user, they can add all of the data to their Cropster account in a few clicks.

With SLIC all you need is a smartphone, tablet or PC with a camera and all the coffee data is available to transfer - simply, securely and accurately in seconds.

If your buyers are not yet Cropster users, they can also scan your samples and download all the information into whatever system they use. Basically, your samples look great and save your buyers time. Talk about a great first impression!

The benefits for you as a coffee seller are huge. You can:

  • Quickly provide your buyers with key information to help them make a buying decision.
  • Reuse everything you create. Different buyers? Do the work once!
  • Create and keep your sample data up-to-date in one place, your Cropster account.
  • Save time generating beautiful and information rich labels.
  • Customize the information you'd like to share with your buyers.
  • Increase your brand recognition with a logo on every label.

Quick, easy to work with & professional - three words that describe the new labelling features and three words your customers will think of the first time they scan a label!

There's a lot more.

You decide what information you want to share. You know what interests your customers have and can tailor sample information to highlight your buyers' preferences. Customizing your labels takes a few simple clicks. You can also pre-define the format you want to use, select information based on your available label size, add your logo, change the sizes of logo and QR-code and much more. Want to add more details to make sales processing easier? You can now also include the container number of a coffee to make identifying or grouping samples easier for you and your buyers. In other words, by adding the container number, Cropster will automatically group samples with the same ICO number and the same container number together.

Oh, and one more thing.

If you sell coffees on Hub, you can generate these sample labels including the QR-code directly from your Hub dashboard. Simply select all the coffees you want to generate a label for in your Manage coffee overview and then, hit the "Print" button. Next, select "Sample labels" to get to this new feature. If you sell on Hub we've made it quicker and easier for you to generate beautiful sample labels with every order, right where you collect them making your workflow easier.

Bottom line, SLIC helps you save valuable time and makes it easier to share key information about your coffees with your buyers. Once you've tried it we're confident you'll be adding them to more and more samples very quickly!
