Andrew Driscoll joins Cropster as the Cafe Sales Manager

Cropster Cafe hires Andrew Driscoll as the Cafe Sales Manager! We are thrilled to have an industry expert like Andrew join our team to work with coffee retailers, Cropster customers, and experts in cafe operations to help us launch, expand, and grow Cropster into the retail market. Andrew’s background in the coffee industry is an important part of our mission to connect coffee professionals worldwide from farmers at origin to people in cafes and to help coffee professionals focus on core processes related to quality, consistency, planning, traceability and resource management at every stage. You can read the press release below.

Sacramento, CA, USA - Andrew Driscoll has worked in coffee since the early 2000s, starting as a barista and cafe manager. He worked on coffee farms, taking part in every aspect of the process, working at a wet mill, roasting, and working at cafes selling the coffee he had worked with from start to finish. He has focused on building an understanding of equipment and the technical side of the industry, which led to working on cafe equipment and working for Modbar and La Marzocco as a technical trainer and account manager.

Andrew has worked with cafes on all aspects of cafe layout and design, workflow, and operational efficiencies. His knowledge of equipment and love for coffee drives his focus on always improving processes and making corrections where needed.

“I am excited about Cropster Cafe for many reasons but largely for its integrative capabilities with equipment. I look forward to seeing brew variables, logging and reviewing data sets, pinpointing where improvements can be made, making it easier for baristas to produce fantastic espresso. Watching people share and impart their expertise through Cropster Cafe software to improve their cafe and build teams will be thrilling!”

"Andrew’s ample experience in the specialty coffee world, and particularly with cafe equipment, makes him the perfect fit for this position. Andrew knows firsthand the pain points faced by cafes and is therefore naturally empathetic with the world of Cropster Cafe’s customers. The combination of his technical knowledge, his decades' experience in specialty coffee, and his problem-solving capabilities will ensure our customers get started successfully and have all their questions answered. He’s also a super nice guy." says Andy Benedikter, Cropster’s head of global new product sales.
